Prof. Kirill Bolotin, Professor of Physics and Vice Chairman of the Examination Board for the Master of Physics program at Freie Universität Berlin, visited India for a visit to IITs in North India.

Through engaging talks and lab visits at IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, and IIT BHU, Prof. Bolotin offered a realistic view of pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Germany—highlighting opportunities, differences in the academic system, and pathways to careers in research and high-tech industry. The visit fostered meaningful dialogue on advanced physics research. He also shared valuable insights into studying and doing research in Germany.
